In addition to the Non-thesis core curriculum and the professional paper, Regional Economic Development Option students must complete:

1. nine (9) additional semester hours from the Regional Economic Development Concentration area and

2. six (6) additional semester hours from Agricultural and Applied Economics (APEC), Economics (ECON), City and Regional Planning (CRP), or other courses approved by the advisory committee.
