Grace Dote - Called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. She thanked Judi Dow for the meeting success at Michigan State.

AERO Statement and Amendment discussion. Grace read the revisions to the statement which restated the structure of the organization. The AERO Statement was read, changed and accepted by the organization. Grace displayed possible Logos for the organization. Linda Maddux, Judi Dow and Ellen Reneke offered choices for our approval. Approval is pending.

Louise Letnes - gave the report from the AAEA/ESRIC conference. She is our liaison to the organization. She attended the executive committee meeting as our representative. She provided the committee information about AgEcon Search. She was appointed to the Information Subcommittee for the AAEA.

Sue Anderson - Handed out Farm Foundation Expense Reimbursement Forms to all members who will request travel funding for this meeting. She asked each person requesting funding to fill out a form and return to her. The Executive Committee will make a decision on travel reimbursement amounts - the Committee will meet immediately following this meeting.

Grace Dote - Selection of editors for the AERO Newsletter. Ellen Reneke and Jill Horrom have agreed to do the newsletter again. The organization has asked Ellen and Jill to continue as co-editors.

Announcement of the Fall 1997 AERO Conference. Sandy Sears for Oregon State University has invited AERO to hold the meeting there in fall 1997. We have accepted their kind invitation. Dr. Bill Boggess wrote to invite us.
